Snow

Talk about a great start to the day. This morning I walked out the door to find baby snow leaving traces on the cars and lawns of my neighborhood. Okay, it wasn't actually "baby" snow - it was frost. But, I was so excited, I wanted to grab my gear and hit the slopes. It's the time of year I look forward to the most: traveling to all our favorite spots - Tahoe, Park City, Breckinridge, Mt. Bachelor (this year maybe Whistler?) - laughing, falling, telling funny snowboarding stories while sipping hot cocoa. It is the best.

Later, I found myself in a bit of a slump at school - freezing, learning, knowing that my friend Daniel lives where it snows and where he actually gets snow days off from school. Even worse, I had to study for my Algebra 2 final. Yikes. I would give anything right now just to be able to make ONE snowball, or even be able to get a close up look at a slope (even those little ones you find on graphs).

Instead, its back to matrices and inequalities, right Mr. Wigert? In the meantime, you will find me impatiently waiting for the first boarding trip of the season.
